The studio for staffing firms.
Staffing is changing fast.
Your firm should look the part.
Candidates check you out before they reply. Clients judge you before they call. AI is on every desk. Placeyard designs and builds the website, the brand and the systems that make a staffing firm look and work like it belongs to this decade. Three founders, building staffing software since 2016.

(Why we exist)
Why weexist
Staffing is changing faster than most firms' websites. Candidates research a recruiter before they answer a message. Clients decide on a firm's site before they take a call. The firms that use AI well are pulling away from the ones still experimenting. Meanwhile the industry is being modernised by people who have never run a staffing business and sold software by people who will never use it: template websites that make every agency look the same, technology advice from whoever earns the referral, AI decks from people who have never filled a role.
We started on the other side of the desk. Then we spent ten years building the software this industry runs on. We design first: what your firm is, who it is for, why your website says none of it. Then we build the site, the brand and the systems behind them, and we stay accountable for whether they work.
(What we do)
01 Website and Brand
Attract talent. Win clients. Look like the firm you are becoming.
Your website is where candidates decide whether to reply and clients decide whether to call. We design it, brand it, and keep it working, built by people who know what a recruiter's clients and candidates actually look for.
- Launch site for new agencies, identity included
- Full agency website with jobs connected to your ATS
- Rebrand and identity system
- After launch: hosting, monthly analytics report, search and AI-answer visibility, content updates
02 Your Tech Stack
The systems behind the desk, designed as one.
Job board, client and candidate portals, search and matching on your own database, automation of the repetitive work, and the custom builds that connect it all to your ATS. We integrate what you have and build what is missing. Fixed scope, owned by you.
- Job board, client portal and candidate portal connected to your ATS
- Search, matching and resurfacing on your own candidate database
- Automation of the desk's repetitive work, including outbound
- Custom builds and integrations around your ATS
03 Consulting
How the desk should run, in writing.
Short engagements with written outcomes: where your process leaks time, what AI should and should not do on your desk, which ATS fits and whether to move, and how to migrate without losing ten years of data.
- Process optimisation for the desk
- AI operating model for your firm
- Which ATS, and whether to move
- Migration planned and de-risked
We do not place candidates, and no vendor pays us to recommend them.

(Fair questions)
No. We build for the firms that do.
We are a studio run by three founders who built staffing software for ten years. The website is where we usually start, because it is where a firm is judged first.
Because we have built it, sold it, migrated it and been burned by it, and because no vendor pays us to recommend them.
It depends on scope, and we tell you after one call, not before. Every engagement is priced to pay for itself in placements.
You can. Most owners do not have someone who will sit down and do it well, and a site that looks generated reads as generic to the client checking you out.
